Master Filter Warranty: What's Normal, What's a Red Flag
Not all "warranties" mean the same thing. Here's what a real one looks like.
"Warranty included" is one of the most overused phrases in the master filter market, and it means almost nothing without specifics. Here's how to tell a real one from a sales line.
A real warranty has a stated length in years, in writing — not a verbal "don't worry, we'll take care of you." It specifies what's covered: the media itself, the workmanship, or both. And critically, it doesn't depend on which price tier you bought — if the warranty is shorter or the terms are vaguer on a cheaper unit, that's a sign the media inside is different too, not just the price.
We back every installation with a 10-year warranty, on the media and the workmanship, regardless of whether the job was RM500 or RM2000. If an installer can't give you a specific number of years when you ask, that's your answer about how confident they actually are in what they're selling.
